Tesla Plans to Build Super Network of Superchargers by End of 2017

With production starting this summer on the Model 3, Tesla is doubling the number of Superchargers to over 10,000 stations on the road by the end of the year. Plans to expand destination chargers that are located in and around hotels, parking structures, and some restaurants will also increase to 15,000, up from 9,000 at the beginning of 2017. All in a plan keep promises to investors and make charging electric cars for customers across the globe that much easier.

Tesla Discontinues its 60kWH Model S, its Cheapest Car

Last Friday, Tesla announced that it would be discontinuing its cheapest car, the Model S 60 kWH. The move comes as Tesla continues to move towards completion and production of the Model 3. After the cut, the Model S will start at $74,500 with the 75 kWH Rear Wheel Drive model. If you are looking to purchase a 60 kWH model, you better move fast.
