Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra Rumored To Be The Ultimate Tablet

Samsung has no respite. Its latest models of foldable smartphones have seen massive leaks, showing almost everything each model has to offer months before they go on sale. Meanwhile, we are already learning of the existence of the Galaxy S22, a series of devices that won’t be officially revealed for at least three to four months. It’s been a while since we’ve heard of Samsung’s next flagship tablet, but if you’re expecting a worthy Galaxy Tab to replace your laptop, then save.

We can never take leaks and rumors at face value, even if they come from reliable sources. After all, the expected flatter design of the Apple Watch Series 7 has turned out to be a total failure, despite famous informants supporting the theory and producing renderings of such a design.

With this in mind, the leaks concerning the Galaxy S22 series are not very reassuring. So it seems almost ironic that the Galaxy Tab S8 is starting to get more interesting, especially the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, which is shaping up to be some sort of laptop replacement, at least according to rumors.

There will never be an end to the debate over whether large “Pro” tablets can really replace laptops, but there’s nothing stopping manufacturers from making them anyway. While Android has always been criticized for its lack of notable apps for creative work, Samsung continues to push its tablets forward, with additional features like S Pen support, floating windows, and most importantly Samsung DeX for compensating for.

However, business tablets could get bigger, with Apple rumored to be planning its biggest iPad Pro yet. As if trying to beat it, Samsung would now have a Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra in the works, set to debut in early 2022. But, beyond the 14.6-inch screen size, the leaked specs for the ultra-wide tablet look very impressive.

What To Eclipse The Range Of Smartphones?

This large screen, for example, is now supposed to display a resolution of 2960 × 1848 pixels, which far exceeds the 2K resolution. In addition, previous leaks have given it a refresh rate of 120Hz, not only ideal. for games or content consumption, but also for working on digital images and videos. All of this will be made possible by a large 11,500mAh battery, one of the largest ever installed in a mobile device.

Previous leaks have also given the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, 5 and 8-megapixel dual front cameras that match the dual cameras on the back. It will certainly be ironic and a bit tragic if the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra ends up eclipsing the Galaxy S22 Ultra next year, with Samsung’s flagship smartphones sounding more like an incremental upgrade in each new rumor.
