Apple Co-Founder Steve Wozniak is up to something. But we’re not quite sure what, as he’s not quite ready to reveal everything. The 71-year-old technician recently tweeted: “  A private space company is starting up, like no other  .” This mysterious post was accompanied by an equally. The mysterious video promised a lot but didn’t deliver much.

With a collection of what looks like stock footage and a catchy soundtrack. The very serious narrator says, “  Together we will go far. We will look out for each other, we will solve problems together. It is not a race. This is not a competition or a game. We are not one person, one company, one nation. We are one planet  ”.

Starting to sound like an advertisement Apple might have launched in decades past, the narrator warms up to his theme: “  We are explorers. We are dreamers, risk-takers, engineers, and stargazers. We are humans, and it’s up to us to work together to do what’s right and what’s right. So we have to take care of what we have so that the next generation can improve together  ”.

The video ends with the slogan: “  The sky is no longer the limit  ”.

Privateer Space, as the new company is called, is the brainchild of Wozniak and Alex Fielding, a longtime friend and collaborator of robotic scanning company Ripcord. Fielding is also a former engineer at Apple.

A Company

The text accompanying the video indicates that Privateer Space “  strives to keep space safe and accessible to all of humanity,  ” leading some to believe the new venture may be aimed at cleaning up all space junk orbiting the Earth. It certainly cannot be imagined that this is another space tourism service in the lineage of Virgin Galactic and Blue Origin.

So when will the two men reveal themselves? The big reveal is expected to take place at the AMOS Tech 2021 conference, which will be held September 14-17 in Maui, Hawaii.
