To put the bundle in perspective, Final Cut Pro X ($299.99), Logic Pro X ($199.99), Motion 5 ($149.99), Compressor 4 ($49.99), and MainStage 3 ($29.99) would cost $629.95 by themselves. The bundle offers almost $400 is savings for students and educators. To take advantage of the deal, however, educators and students MUST purchase the bundle through the Education Store itself. After the purchase has been completed, and customers have been confirmed to be students and/or educators, an email will be sent to the email associated with Apple ID with redemption codes to download each piece of software. The redemption codes are usually delivered on the same business day, but it can take up to 3 days for codes to be delivered.

For those that do not know, these are all of Apple’s Professional software products. Final Cut Pro X is used for high-end video editing. Logic Pro X is a music production application. Motion 5, Compressor 4, and MainStage 3 are all tools to create, edit, and change output setting for 3D aminations.

For those that are looking into any of Apple’s pro software and that happen to be an educator or student, this bundle is a fantastic deal! Even if customers are only interested in one piece of the bundle, all of the various suites would be available to download at a later date if it was needed. Now, if you live outside of the United States, Apple has already confirmed that it is working to add the bundle to more of its Education Stores as soon as possible, so keep an eye on your particular store!
