Update (5/1/2016 - 2:35 PM CST): The secret series of numeric combinations that can be found on Nuketown have been decrypted. The 12-digit code can be entered into a Facebook message conversation that tells users the next installment for Call of Duty will be revealed to the world on Monday, May 2, 2016 at 16:00 GMT, or 9:00 AM PST. The original data was predicted to be on Tuesday May 3, 2016 but it has officially been confirmed by Activision that the reveal will be tomorrow, Monday, May 2, 2016. Earlier this week a Canadian game retailer accidentally leaked a poster revealing the next installment of the Call of Duty series. The post revealed that the game is supposedly called Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, but it did not stop there. The poster revealed further cover art for the game case and disclosed that at least one version of the game will come with a remastered version of the first Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Remastered implies updated graphics not just support for features like Microsoft’s Backwards Compatibility.
Activision and Infinity Ward were allegedly planning on revealing the game officially on May 2, 2016, and it now looks like that will happen. Ahead of their announcement the latest Call of Duty game, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 has received several updates over the last two days gaining Easter eggs about the next game. The first was a sip added to the end cut scene after a match has finished on Black Ops III’s Nutketown map. The lasts Easter egg comes from the official Call of Duty twitter page as it sent out a cryptic tweet directing users to a Facebook user created by the company. The chat directs users to find 12 characters to a secret code that can be found on secret parts of the Nutketown multiplayer map. Currently 5 of the 12 have been found.
