Snapchat released a new update to its iOS app today allowing users to place animated emojis on video snaps. Let’s say you would like to place the “Face with Tears of Joy” emoji onto your video, just record the clip and click on the emoji button at the top of the screen after you are done recording. From there, you can find the emoji you want to use and drag it around on the screen and resize it. You can also choose whether to use static or animated emojis. This feature was first released on Android devices last week.
Now this is not a groundbreaking feature, but these subtle changes and additions keep the app fresh and exciting. The ever growing number of ways that users can modify snaps is increasing the amount of users joining and returning to the service.
