Google Has A New Logo
Google unveiled a new logo today. The new logo is still a word mark but has been modernized and made more playful. The new logo uses softer colors and resembles Google's new parent company Alphabet. The logo has been ever changing since it was created in 1998. This is easily the biggest change from the first word mark with four colors first released in 1999.
Google did not give any specific reason for the update, but says the company has become a collection of applications and tools that can be accessed on desktops, tablets, notebooks, netbooks, smartphones, etc. The new logo now plays better with all devices especially mobile devices with better scaling making the logo crisper and easier to read on smaller screens. The new logo is a change for the better and will start to appear on Google applications and pages within the next few days.
