Samsung Galaxy S21 To Launch Alongside Galaxy Buds Pro
Samsung is preparing a full army of devices for 2021. Moreover, the new foldable smartphones, the Galaxy S21, perhaps the latest Galaxy Note, and other smartphones in the entry-level and mid-range categories, the company is also working on new headphones.
And these headphones could not be other than the highly anticipated Galaxy Buds Pro, which, according to an FCC request, are all but confirmed now. It was inevitable that Samsung would go from “Plus” to “Pro”. Even if there was a “Live” between the two.
Filing with the FCC comes with traditional privacy protocols, so it doesn’t reveal much more about the Galaxy Buds Pro. But, a picture of the regulatory label offers a glimpse of the shape of the charging case. It looks like the Galaxy Buds Pro will be housed in a case that looks more like the case of the Galaxy Buds Live than that of the Galaxy Buds Plus.
Of course, it’s too early to discuss the capabilities of these new headphones, but given the current trends in this market, it’s not hard to see where Samsung is aiming with this new product. The active noise cancellation will most likely be one of the highlights, and the Galaxy Buds Pro could also feature an improved design to make them more comfortable overall.
According to a report from SamMobile, these could launch in January alongside the Galaxy S21, so they should be there in less than two months.
Beginning to mid-January
The Galaxy S21 is expected to arrive earlier than usual, as Samsung wants to move the launch date from February to January and thus give the device an extra month on the market. If the information that has made the headlines recently is correct, an official announcement is slated for mid-January, while the device is expected to hit the market later in the same month.
The same goes for the new headphones and if all goes according to plan I could try the Galaxy Buds Pro in about two months.
But to this day, it’s important to keep in mind that everything is still rumored, so take it all with a healthy dose of skepticism.
