Microsoft Will Launch a Black Surface Duo

Microsoft has launched its first Android smartphone, the Surface Duo. With its dual-screen system, the Surface Duo launched earlier this year in the United States exclusively. And, now rumor has it that the company is working not only to bring the smartphone to other countries but also to launch a new color.

Source @cozyplanes revealed on Twitter that one of Microsoft’s biggest news is the launch of a black Surface Duo, and while we still don’t know exactly when this new model is supposed to go live, it should be “soon”.

Interestingly, Microsoft is already studying the international launch of this smartphone, which could indicate that the Surface Duo in Glacier and Black colorways could potentially end up in the hands of more people outside of the United States.

The bad news is that the black Surface Duo would have the same specs as its gray counterpart, meaning it will still be powered by the same Snapdragon 855 processor, which is now outdated.

However, at the moment there are no details on who gets the Surface Duo and when it happens. Previously, rumors mentioned that Microsoft would assess the international launch of its Surface Duo in early 2021, but today, people who know the subject report that a decision has already been taken and that Germany is the first country not American to get it.

Surface Duo arrives in Germany

The launch is slated to take place in the spring, and that’s when other regions could get it, with France also on the table for a Surface Duo launch.

But to this day, it’s important to keep in mind that everything is still rumored and that you better not get too excited about launching the Surface Duo in another market until then. that we hear something official on that front.
